Hewitt symposium- Why Bush not Kerry ?

"In 250 words or less, why vote for Bush and what's wrong with Kerry?"

President Bush has a deep understanding of the dire threat that faces the United States and is steadfast and determined to defend to the end, this country and her people. He is a man who is trustworthy and views the job set before him as "service" to the One who called him to the position and to those entrusted under his watch. The President is driven by noble goals, goals that would see this nation as a beacon of light to the world. The President has a deep sense of this nation being set apart for a purpose, and he seeks the will of the One who has set it apart and desires to use it. The President is a man of integrity and heart determined to fulfill his charge to serve. He is trustworthy.

John Kerry's purposes are less then noble, they are self seeking. He has his own agenda and his agenda is reflected in his voting record. His agenda is contrary to the desires of most Americans, he will take us where we do not want to go, morally and defensively. He has a lack of understanding as to the depth of hate our enemies have for us and their determination to destroy the United States at all cost. Politics and personal strivings must play no place in these times. We trust Bush with our lives, we do not trust Kerry.

Hewitt's ~Weekend Symposium 3 question

The question : How deep a hole have John Kerry, Mary Beth Cahill and the Edwards dug for themselves? How lasting the damage? ~ Hugh Hewitt

Kerry and Edwards continue to reveal the nature of their character and just the type of men they are by their blatant disregard for decency in this election. It really goes to the heart of the poor judgment Kerry maintains in his "gut" as history has shown in his anti-soldier campaign on returning from Vietnam and his voting record on defense and vital issues that strengthen America in which he voted to reduce. And now the continued poor judgment in his campaign. The American people do not want a President especially in these dangerous times ,that shows poor, weak judgment. I believe the vast majority of American's want a decent man as their leader. The Kerry campaign stooping to use Mary Cheney as a pawn in the campaign reveals their desperation, the American people are smart enough to see this.
A woman I work asked me the day after the 3rd debate if I had watched it. She told me she had been undecided in who to vote for, until she watched the 3rd debate. She told me she has decided to vote for Bush, not just because "he makes more sense" on the issues, but because she just does not like John Kerry. The 3rd debate cemented in her mind her dislike for Kerry. People just do not like John Kerry. I doubt my co-worker was the only undecided voter who felt this way, and it was a nail in the coffin for Kerry for many.

The sole reason Kerry brought up the sexual life of Mary Cheney was that the campaign hoped to remind those voter's that could be negatively affected by the fact she is lesbian, to not vote for Bush because his Vice President has a lesbian daughter. As Mrs... Cheney said, "..this is not a good man..." and she is right. He is a desperate man. And America knows it.

Before the debate took place I offered up the following prayer for the debate:

Father ~We lift up tonight's debate to You. I ask that Your Hand will be upon each man and that the listener's to these two men will clearly hear and see the differences between them in their desire to govern this nation. I ask that You will reveal each man for what he is and who he is, and whose he is. We know Lord that Your will, will be done despite 'words'...We ask for Your gracious mercy on this country, we ask that there will be a turning of hearts to You. We thank You that You are involved in the affairs of men and Your heart is always to hold back judgement and restore. May You use the righteous man who seeks You to hold the line in this country. May You annoint that man by the power of Your Holy Spirit, with wisdom and discernment for this evening and the many days to come. Amen

I believe my prayer was answered.

A blatant deceiver

Hugh Hewitt ( is asking the following question for his weekend symposium
"What do Kerry's answers to today's press inquiries tell us about Kerry's worldview and character?"

Quote from Kerry’s interview:
“"I will do what the generals believe we need to do without having any chilling effect, as the president put in place by firing General Shinseki, and I'll have to wait until January 20th. I don't know what I am going to find on January 20th, the way the president is going. If the president just does more of the same every day, and it continues to deteriorate, I may be handed Lebanon, figuratively speaking”.

It has been documented and is an indisputable fact that Shinseki was not fired and his retirement was dated and planned long prior (see Hewitt's site for concise documentation). The fact that John Kerry would blatantly lie in the face of the facts gives us a birdseye view into his character or lack there of. The United States is at war with an enemy that would see us and our way of life wiped of the map or would wish to make us so ineffective in world affairs, that their dire plot to take over all that is good and right will succeed. That John Kerry would purposely deceive the American people with his statements during such a time as this speaks to his maniacal vanity to do and say anything in his attempt for self promotion rather then having the countries best interests at heart. He is a not a “servant of the people” but a servant of self. Politics are politics, but this is war time folks and we face any enemy that cannot be underestimated or will sit still while John Kerry promotes his agenda and his self absorbed doctrines of “diplomacy”. A purposeful deceiver, John Kerry is, at an unimaginable cost to the American people, should his deceptions succeed.

Proverbs 14:5
A truthful witness does not deceive, but a false witness pours out lies.

Psalm 49:5-6
Why should I fear when evil days come, when wicked deceivers surround me- those who trust in their wealth and boast of their great riches?

Heinz-Kerry opens her mouth again

Teresa-Heinz Kerry or is it Michael Moore in drag, expressed her insight into world affairs last night during on her husband's campaign trail. "No American boy or girl should lose their lives for oil," she said. Eluding that this nations brave men and women who are dedicated to protecting this country are but mere pawns in a grab for oil. One must ask if she is truly deceived or a deceiver, it IS one or the other. She is either foolish enough to believe what is not true or knows that it is not true and is deceiving the American people by stating untruths in her attempt to further slander the President. One must also ask this same question of her husband. He is either deceived or he is a deceiver . If he is deceived in believing this despicable claim then he is unfit to lead this nation. If he knows this is not true and yet continues the propagation of such a lie, he is unfit for the Office and even worse a threat to the American people. He has not corrected his wife and he indicated his agreement when in the debate he said, "The only building that was guarded when the troops when into Baghdad was the oil ministry." So which is it, deceived or deceiver, it IS one or the other .
"The Taliban is back running Afghanistan," Heinz Kerry said. Perhaps someone needs to tell the 10 million Afgani's that will soon be voting and our troops there who are unaware of this new secret information. Does Teresa have a secret CIA source who gives her this information, could it be the same CIA agent who gave her husband the treasured secret hat he keeps in his briefcase? Politics are politics but at a time of war and with the enemies this nation faces, foolishness or deception is intolerable.

Proverbs 19:14 Houses and wealth are inherited from parents, but a prudent wife is from the LORD .

Iran to Kerry : "Drop Dead"

Iran to Kerry: Drop Dead

Iran's Mullahs Rejects Kerry Nuclear Proposal
Iran on Sunday rejected a proposal by U.S. presidential candidate John Kerry who has suggested supplying the Islamic state with nuclear fuel for power reactors if Tehran agrees to give up its own fuel-making capability. Foreign ministry spokesman Hamid Reza Asefi said it would be "irrational" for Iran to put its nuclear program in jeopardy by relying on supplies from abroad. "We have the technology (to make nuclear fuel) and there is no need for us to beg from others," Asefi told a weekly news conference.I guess Iran won't be interested in coming to Kerry's big ole Summit, eh?

"swing left, sweet pendulum
comin for to Kerry U.S. home
swing left, sweet pendulumcomin for to Kerry U.S. home "

Some sweet soul left me this email in response to my previous..

I believe that song is about going to the grave, so he certainly picked the right song...cause that's just where Kerry will send the US..the emailer was correct, Kerry will get us killed.

I've also received some emails from some other juniorhigh kids...always good for a chuckle.

Can a born again Christian vote for Kerry?

As Christians, we need to be very sure that we are clinging to the truth of God's Word and resisting the inclusion of liberalism, moral relativism, and the oncoming secularism that is all around us. We need to stand on the word of God . If we do not believe what the Bible says we should not call ourselves Christians. I don't believe what the Koran teaches, therefore I do not call myself a Muslim. I don't believe what the Book of Mormon teaches therefore I do not call myself a Mormon. You either believe it or you don't, its black and white not gray. When someone wants to nuance the truth, they want to avoid a black and white statement of truth. God has declared homosexualilty an abomination yet one who says he is a follower of Christ and believes Gods Word would vote for a secular man who wishes to promote the homosexual agenda in this country and has voted against the Defense of Marriage Act. Kerry is man who has stood for abortion and partial-birth abortion time and time again. Paul described a particular pathological condition known as "itching ears" whereby people determine truth as a matter of subjective opinion rather then objective revelation. Invoking the name of God while rejecting the word of God is not wise.

Those who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities.
Voltaire (1694 - 1778)

Did Kerry blunder in denouncing nuclear bunker busters?

KERRY: "Right now the president is spending hundreds of millions of dollars to research bunker-busting nuclear weapons. The United States is pursuing a new set of nuclear weapons. It doesn't make sense.
You talk about mixed messages. We're telling other people, "You can't have nuclear weapons," but we're pursuing a new nuclear weapon that we might even contemplate using.
Not this president. I'm going to shut that program down, and we're going to make it clear to the world we're serious about containing nuclear proliferation."

Would John Kerry assign the US to the same page as Iran and North Korea in his diatribe against the Bush bunker-buster agenda ? Is that not what Mr.Kerry is saying, how dare we the US seek to develop these weapons while we tell others not to to seek thier own weapons ? And how long then before Mr.Kerry, were he President, tell Israel to get rid of thier nukes ? Was this a blunder on his part to mention this in the debate ? John Kerry's agenda and stance is apparent and there are many voters who do not understand the dire threat his "global" mindset offers or they agree with him in that the US should not be "the" world "leader" for this simply is arrogance on our part. From the Biblical viewpoint, we see being put into action, the dumbing down of many in the US as we have slid into moral decay and the seeking of pleasure and material goods have lulled many into a sleep that will be our ultimate downfall. It is often said that the US is not mentioned in the End Times events in the Bible, but the European Union is the dominate world force. We see that John Kerry's agenda and his "european" outlook on things fits into the scheme of this scenario. Is the US not relevant in the End Times because she has been made non-effective by her melding into "global" governing or has she lost her might due to being elimanated by attack. It is this posters view that the former is the reason and the liberal agenda will take us there. I do not believe John Kerry will be the next President but there are many of his same ilk that will follow in his footsteps to seek the Oval Office and the day is coming when the chair will be filled by such a man as John Kerry.
The liberal ageny, a society of no absolutes will lead the way. Did Kerry blunder in his statements and will it affect his campaign ? I believe Kerry would have blundered only if he had been trying to hide his agenda, I do not believe he is trying to hide it, it is crystal clear. Many are decieved and do not see it. Will it affect his campaign ? It will solidify those who agree with him and further sound the alarm for those who oppose him. John Kerry is looking for supporters who don''t think too hard, who really think no further than thier SUV in the driveway and the price of gas and how it affects thier wallet. As long as they have thier stuff and there are no sacrifices involved in thier life, all is status quo. The sense that nothing is worth fighting for is prevalent in many. If the enemy came and attacked on this land and one was at risk of losing thier SUV or Nike's, maybe that would bring outrage...but to fight for democracy and what is good and just on a foreign soil is just not worth the personal cost to many, especially if it's not microwave fast.
May God continue to use George W.Bush to "hold the line". And may God be merciful to the US in that Bush will be this nations President for 4 more years. For Bush is a man who understands the "perilous" times we live in and he has the will and determination to STAND in the face of them. May we not come under the rule of the ungodly.

Integrity without knowledge is weak and useless, and knowledge without integrity is dangerous and dreadful.
Samuel Johnson (1709 - 1784)
